We got our shower/tub head and faucet repaired and replaced.  Bryan was the most conscientious and pleasant person to work with.  He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions completely and with patience.  He arrived with everything he needed and his work was done within the estimated time. He thoroughly cleaned up after himself and left no trace that he had even been here.  He even provided me with his phone number in case I had questions while I was shopping for my shower head.  After my initial call to the office, I only worked with Bryan and that made the job run smoothly. This was an all-around easy project and I had so much anxiety heading into it. The best plumbing company to ever work on my home. I had a mainline sewer drain replacement project on a 1960s home with cast iron and they had the best trenchless solutions I came across (the sewer line was 70 feet across my front walkway, yard, and a lot of hardscape, so digging it all up was obviously not preferable). One of things that made this company stand out to me while researching my options was that the owner made videos of the various trenchless options in which he gave demonstrations with actual equipment on how they worked - extremely helpful. They responded to my request for an estimate very quickly (the online request option and updates via text were aspects I really appreciated - they seemed to be way ahead of other companies who still rely on phone calls), and an estimator was at my house the following day. Levi was the estimator and he was great - extremely professional and knowledgeable. He fully assessed the project (camera, locator tool to figure out the exact path and depths of the line) and he came up with a plan and provided a couple different options. He calmly explained each option, patiently answered questions, and he gave me his recommendation and cost estimates all before he left. The recommendation he gave (pipe bursting with brand new ABS pipe) was actually the less expensive option and it has a lifetime warranty versus 30 years for epoxy re-lining. This told me that he valued his company's reputation for being a respected industry expert while having the best interest of the customer in mind rather than a focus on upselling - that is what sold me on going with Almco. Additionally, when we ran into an issue involving large tree roots during the project and it sounded like excavation of the yard and hardscape might be needed, Levi came back out to evaluate things and devised a solution that avoided demolition - it involved quite a bit more work from the install team, but there was no extra charge - the original estimate remained solid. The guys who did the actual work were great, especially the lead tech (I forgot his name) - very professional and respectful of our space and time. When the unanticipated issue arose, which added a day to the project (3 days total for the project), they hooked up a sump pump and hose to our septic tank so that we could use toilets, showers, and sinks overnight. In fact, throughout the entire project they did a great job of minimizing the time we could not use water, which was 0 hours on the first day (digging holes), maybe 2 hours on the 2nd day, and 2 hours on the 3rd day. We didn't have to get a hotel or inconvenience neighbors or family at all, which was a really nice surprise. They filled all the holes and compacted the dirt really well, and they cleaned things up making the space looking better than when they arrived. Could not have been more pleased with a major home improvement project that nobody ever wants to do. I highly recommend Almco - after 20 years living in my house trying out a variety of plumbing companies that were simply adequate, but never impressed me, I am finally impressed. The overall experience with Almco has been great. Working on plumbing of a 76 year old home has its built in challenges. Plus the fact there were 2 remodels 50 years apart. Nykola was great to work with and very knowledgeable and professional. The best part of working with Nykola was he always was happy and had a smile. They answered our phone when we called and were able to schedule an appointment for us. Their plumber knew how to repair our toilets, how to replace the water shut off valve for each toilet and how to repair our bathtub faucet that wasn't working and water would come out of the faucet when we turned the shower on. Showing up to a customer's home smelling strongly of weed is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I paid for a professional service, not to have my home stink like marijuana. Requested free estimate for a slow running rainwater driveway drain to the curb about 50 feet that sometimes backs up in a heavy storm. Needed to know my options. Ryan came out from Almco and spent enough time, assessing my problem, whether it's roots or leaves or poor drainage angle (lowest point in the middle).  Probably a combination of all three. He gave me an estimate for a power jetting to clear roots and debris, and that didn't work. It would have to be dug up to fix the angle of drain drainage in the pipe. I felt he was sincerely, considering my needs and possible solutions, not trying to jack me up or sell me unneeded services. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional.  I felt like I could trust him. While this may be an expensive project I felt like he would be giving me a fair price and really appreciated the time and knowledge he shared with me. Hired these guys to do the main sewer line. I received many verbal guarantees from Vlad that the cost of the project was all inclusive and included everything right up to the city connection. However, they could not complete up to the city connection because of a branch connection from another house in the alleyway before the city line. I also noticed that they did not line another branch connection at my property location. They said the contract did not cover it. They said they could do it but it would cost up to 60% more than the agreed upon amount. They pointed to areas in the contract that got them off the hook. I did eventually get the city to complete the project. If you do work with these guys do not go on their verbal guarantees make sure you read the entire contract for escape clauses. Of course all I heard was that we guarantee to line your line sewer line up to city connection no qualifiers or exclusionary escape clauses were verbally mentioned before work started, I learned my lesson about trusting contractors.
